In preparation for the Independence Day Holiday tomorrow, we would like to provide Smith Point Beach visitors with some important information regarding park hours. The Outer Beach will open at 7am, there will be no early arrivals allowed. The main parking lot and the East Booth will open at 8:30am. Lifeguards will be on duty in the main beach area from 10am – 5:30pm. The Outer Beach will close at 9pm and the park will close at 10pm.
When parking and setting up on the outer beach, please be courteous and remember that you should not be setting up to the side of your vehicle. All chairs, umbrellas, canopies, etc. should be in placed in front of your vehicle. Space is limited and we want to allow as many cars as possible to enjoy the beach this weekend.
