Notice for Smith Point Outer Beach: As of today, July 31, 2025, the outer beach has been reopened to Cut 2. Burma Road from Cut 2 to Inlet will be open for fishermen only. Please see the map for additional details and follow all posted signs and barricades when visiting the outer beach.

Cupsogue outer beach access via Burma Road has been reopened to the inlet. The outer beach oceanside is still closed and no vehicles are permitted. Driving is not permitted on the bayside beach, only on Burma Road. Please follow all posted signs and barricades when visiting the park.
